Blueprint Media is run by Drew Johnston and Michael Crawford together with a five strong-team of business writers and account executives.

While Blueprint Media may not be the biggest PR agency in the UK it is among the best. Unlike many bigger agencies the people who sell customers their PR services are the same people who transact the business, not younger, less experienced colleagues.

Our People

 

Drew is a chartered accountant and former London Times journalist who, via three years at the investment bank, 3i, went on to help Tim Waterstone develop his bookstore empire. He was commercial director at Waterstone’s before it was sold to WH Smith for £39m in 1989.

He entered the PR world in 1990 and started blueprint media in 2001. Drew has an unrivalled depth of experience in Scottish business and media and comprehensive contacts across traditional and new media channels.

Michael Crawford, a marketing man with an expertise in social media management, graduated from Strathclyde University then joined the graduate training scheme at Majestic Wines where he learned the practicalities of successfully addressing business audiences. He joined Blueprint Media in 2008.
